About the Campaign

Help build hope.

To help celebrate 25 years of changing lives and bettering communities, Habitat for Humanity Winnipeg is launching our first online fundraising campaign with the goal to build one home solely from the donations of you, the individuals of Winnipeg. To inspire and embrace our local spirit, we are building the Habitat Builds home in the heart of our city in front of the Legislative Grounds at Memorial Park.

There is an urgent need in Winnipeg, for safe, decent, affordable housing. Habitat for Humanity Winnipeg builds affordable homes for low-income working families to purchase through no down payment and interest free mortgages. The homes we build offer families living in difficult situations an escape from the cycle of poverty and allow them to experience a positive change in their lives.

However, we cannot solve the housing crisis alone.

From March 12th through June 20th, help us raise $125,000. The Habitat Builds Fundraising Campaign is relying on your support to assist us in our efforts to continue building safe, decent, affordable housing, one home at a time.

When you choose to make a personal contribution, you also have the opportunity to build the home at Memorial Park, should you wish to do so. You will have made the difference by supporting Habitat and our mission to eliminate poverty housing.
